Toyota Scholarships
Every three months Toyota has a new Believe Scholarship up for grabs. Scholarship recipients are provided with a maximum of $3,000 per scholarship to give them a head start with getting a project (idea, endeavour) off the ground.
Applying for a Believe Scholarship
So how does it work? Applicants must complete the Believe Scholarship application form which requires information about your project. You must also indicate the Believe Scholarship amount you are applying for (up to $3000), and how you will spend the money.
Interested in applying? Apply using the Toyota Scholarship Application below. Cut off the next round of applications is 30th April 2010.
Visitor Votes Decide
Toyota New Zealand will determine the finalist for that period scholarship. The successful applications will then be shared with our site visitors for the following two months. During
February 24th - April 5th 2010 (voting will close on April 5th 2010) site visitors will choose who will receive this Believe Scholarship by voting online.
The successful recipient will be the person who recieves the most votes from our Believe Scholarship voting page at the end the two month voting period.
Make sure you get the support of your friends, family, co-workers and community. The support you generate will be important. But the strength of your idea will also determine the popularity of your application.

Scholarship Application Criteria
Your application must meet some simple criteria to be valid and successfully make it through to the voting stage.
We’ve let you in on our Believe philosophy and how it has, and continues to help us move forward in what we do. Your project must reflect one (or several) of our 8 Believe statements.
And we are looking for people who are out there to make a difference. So your project must not be about personal monetary gain.
How Does Voting Work?
Voting is simple.
*This is to ensure that multiple votes by individuals do not skew the results.
If you choose to know the results, we will send you an email at the end of the two month voting period, announcing who has won the scholarship.
Scholarship News
We will also update you by email after two months to let you know how the project the scholarship you voted for is progressing… After all you played a part in its application’s success.
